hey there,
wrapped up the shoot(s) for the City Paper Black and Gold magazine and things are looking really good. worked with a lot of talented folks to put this together and had a great time shooting it. most of the photography was shot on white but we did go and shoot on the roof for some cover images, which was by far my favorite part. went out to Canon McMillan High School today to shoot about 30-40 kids on a super simple background for some in school banner stuff. they wanted to replicate that espn magazine / sports illustrated look for the photography so i broke out the dyna-lite set and worked the light mainly from the high back and filled in the front with a large softbox. turned out pretty cool for a quick studio setup in the middle of a high school gym.
