Photo One (2) Images

wanted to post the four images that i am putting into the Photo One (2) show up here so you can check them out. these arent the actual finished pieces since they were inkjet transfers mounted on wood and coated with varnish. have been in the bad habit of letting things sneak out the door and into galleries without taking photos of the final pieces, not good.

wine

shot some promo photos for a enginehouse 25 wines today, fun stuff and good wine. wanted to keep the shots kind of generic so things are cropped kind of tight and the focus is pretty soft. am pretty happy with the final stuff though!

basketball

went out to Canon McMillan High School today to shoot about 30-40 kids on a super simple background for some in school banner stuff. they wanted to replicate that espn magazine / sports illustrated look for the photography so i broke out the dyna-lite set and worked the light mainly from the high back and filled in the front with a large softbox. turned out pretty cool for a quick studio setup in the middle of a high school gym.

Helmets Part Two

Just wanted to follow up on the last post with how things turned out. Ended up doing the a helmet for keisel, farrior and a stencil for the ryan clark helmet. all in all they came out really well. Posting some photos of all of the finals along with a screen grab from the news. super cool project to be involved with and all of the folks i dealt with, players and people involved in the event, were nothing but awesome. now on to more art!

Steelers Helmets

hey there, am doing some helmets for the Deshea Townsend “Black and Gold Art Show” that is coming up next week. finished up the Brett Keisel one and am now moving on to the james farrior helmet. has been a lot of fun and a bit of a challenge to get these pieced together but i am pretty happy with the outcome thus far. in the end these get signed by the players and put up for auction with the proceeds going to Desheas charity, “Pay it Forward”. always nice to do art for a good cause.photophoto2
